Jungle Song Necklace

"...somewhere deep in the Jungle..."

Inspiration for this design came while I was listening on music album "World Mix" by Deep Forest.
This necklace with gemstones dedicated to my Mom.

No glue or wire.
Beads stitched together with thread.
To create this necklace I used:

- Materials:
Seed Beads, Buggle Beads, Pressed glass, Malachite gemstone, Peridot chips.

- Basic bead stitches and techniques:
Peyote Stitch, Brick Stitch, Square stitch, Ndebele Herringbone, Right Angel Wave, Stringing;
and some of my own developed:
3D flower, Peyote Leafs, Bird pattern.

Made for 2009 Bead Dreams competition.
