I dedicate this necklace to my beloved cat Katyusha 14 y.o.
Year 2009 after an accident she suffered facial nerve paralysis and as follow keratitis(she can't yet blink properly).
I was so afraid I'm going to lose her. Luckily cats have 9 lifes, Katyusha survived and partly recovered.
During this time beading helped alleviate my worries.
Again, Katyusha watching me every time I do beading.
- I used Japanese and Chech Seed Beads size 11, Chech pressed glass beads and Caribbean Freshwater pearls.
- Basic stitches and Techniques:
Peyote, Tubular Peyote, Circular Peyote Stitch.
I embelished peyote and brick stitch spirals and developed my own technique for the 3D peyote stitch flowers.
The necklace is 36x15cm (long and wide)
Weight 113g
